Week 5B: Target Market for Business

Electronics is a fast growing, with no indication of slowing down anytime soon. Every month there seems to be some new kind of technology or an upgrade of an old one. At TJ electronics we plan to keep the customers satisfied with the latest technology. If you can not afford the latest technology we also have a used section that cuts some of the prices by 50% (depending on how old). TJ Electronics target costumers are any and everyone who uses some form of technology. Our competitors are Frys and Entertainmart ( I have not seen one in California).

Week 5 Target Market

Reading the about me section for Just Cheap Diapers. I found out that the founder was a mother of four. She seemed to try and build a relationship with the targeted audience/ customer which would be anyone with a baby and wants to save money on diapers.     The website offered cheap diapers for at a discounted price. The Econobum website seemed to be very similar to Just Cheap Diapers as far as their intended audience.   The website targeted parents and people that want to save money on diapers. Econobum had just a little more to offer. They were environmental friendly, there diapers were washable. Having that added factor seemed to have one more factor for targeted audiences.   Giving the fact that Econobum is washable and Just Cheap diapers offer disposable diapers, it may be possible to combine the websites together. The goal for both is to sale diapers. The targeted audience for the most part is the same with one minor addition for Econobum. I think if th...

Week 4 : Websites Review

I feel that a business website is an extension of the business. It should be easy to navigate and give a great clear picture of what the business is about or has to offer. Having a poor/ hard to understand website will steer people away for the website and lose possible customers. I found a couple of good websites along with some that were not so good.      A good example of a bad website I visited was www.pennyjuice.com . One factor that made this site a little unattractive was the beginning of the website. It was not clear what www.pennyjuice.com was selling, also it difficult to navigate to through the site.  T he small text (that were not highlighted) at the top of the website made it a little difficult to know that they were links. once I finally did click the link it took me to the main page. on the main page I notice that their logo was small and tucked in the corner. Although the site was colorful and a little dra...

Week 3: Communication Business & Consumer

Dealing with a business is not a fun or an easy task. I have had numerous bad experiences dealing with customer service. So I will just talk about my most recent bad experience. I was dealing with AT&T. I wanted to add a security system to my recent order. A few days earlier I had ordered Direct TV, while doing that the customer service clerk ask if I would like to add security service because they had a promotional offer. I told them I had to consult with my wife and I would call back. I called back to try and get the service and I was sent to 3 different places. After the 3 rd person gave me a number that was wrong I gave up. I never got what I wanted or connected to the right place.   In this situation I do know how social media would help and the fact I do not use social media. I guess I could post a bad review on yelp to see if anyone else have had the same issue, or give recognition to the problem at hand.      I personally have not had any positi...

Week 2 social media platforms

One social media platform I fell that’s geared towards personal use is Snapchat. Snapchat is a social media program that you can use to send sort videos or pictures to your friend with little animations. You can also post it so everyone in your friends list with on snap chat could see it. I feel the intentions of the program were for personal use, although some people still uses it to promote a business in ways.    One program I feel that was intended for business use is Linkein. Linkein is a social media site that has some of the same characteristics Facebook. Employers can search for qualified people for a position they want to fill, get a resume, or simply find an ex work associate. I feel that Linkein is geared towards business.    Facebook is a great social media site that works for both business and personal. Facebook actually has a Facebook business site. On the Facebook Business site you can post about your business and give the viewers more info...
